Vehicle Preferences Setup

Manager now offers the option of Medium and Heavy Duty vehicle selections. The checkboxes provided on this screen allow you to determine which vehicle types (and subsequent year-make-model options) to display during entry on the Vehicle screen. Please note that you must have a current subscriptions for each type you want available for selection.

The option(s) selected here also determine labor time lookup by vehicles type.

For users Who work on Medium and Heavy duty trucks exclusively, we provide an option to only show truck models when creating new vehicle records for customers. This selection preference is also associated with your User Profile, allowing users to see a model range they want to see.

NOTE: Users may elect to display BOTH Light vehicles and Med/HD Truck model lists; when both are selected, you may also set a system default to Light or Med/HD vehicles when creating new vehicle records.
