Standard Notes
Standard Notes are prepared notes that you can attach to
Manager Orders. Each note has a Title (which appears in a pull-down
choice list when you are creating the repair lines of an order), and
Note Text (the text that appears in the order repair lines). The
Standard Notes dialog box is where you can add, edit, and delete notes.
Standard Notes is available from the Standard
Descriptions dialog box, which is a Setup menu selection.

Adding a Standard Note
1. In the Standard Notes dialog
box, choose the Add button.
The Add Standard Note dialog
box appears.
2. Type in a Standard Note
Title. This is the title that will appear in your pull-down lists.
Standard Note Titles can be up to 30 characters in length.
3. Type in the Note Text (up to
509 characters in length).
4. Select OK to save.
You are returned to the
Standard Notes dialog box and the title of the new standard note
appears in your list.
Editing a Standard Note
1. In the Standard Notes dialog
box, highlight the title of the Standard Note you wish to edit.
2. Choose the Edit button.
The Edit Standard Note dialog
box appears with the text from the current note displayed.
3. Overtype the current Note
Title and/or Text as desired.
4. Select OK to save.
Deleting a Standard Note
1. In the Standard Notes dialog box, highlight the title
of the Standard Note you wish to delete.
2. Choose the Delete button.
A dialog box asks you to confirm your deletion.
3. Select Yes to delete.
